   I used to call it the Batman Bridge when I was a little girl. Across the river is Portland's well-known Forest Park and I was 100% certain that's where Batman lived. I love that bridge.

   I can see the Batman reference, but I obviously saw Chartres Cathedral (and loads of other high Gothic buildings) in those images. I love the clean lines of those arches combined with the “honest” structure of the girder bridge.
